Heraldic Artist to the Court of the Lord Lyon and Advisor to the Chief Herald of Ireland. Romilly is also the Deputy Secretary of the Standing Council of Scottish Chiefs. He advises the Council and its individual members on heraldic matters and regulates the commercial exploitation, by unscrupulous publishers and manufacturers, of its members' heraldic property. He is also Chairman of the Heraldry Society of Scotland and a Board Member of the Society of Scottish Armigers. In addition to his many appointments and official duties, Romilly also finds time for private commissions of Artwork as well as the drafting and filing of petitions for grant's of Arms as well as assisting in the design work of the petitioners proposed Arms if needed. Romilly often travels to various Scottish events and Games, both in the UK and the US to help promote and educate people in the proper use and understanding of Heraldry. He is a very dedicated and busy man.
